Rally for the Cure

Rally for the Cure is a grassroots program that works to spread awareness about breast health and breast cancer in support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. Our volunteer organized golf, tennis and social events have communicated the important message that early detection saves lives to over 1.65 million people and have generated over $50 million for Susan G. Komen for the Cure® since 1996. Our mission is to empower people to join the fight against breast cancer by educating their friends, family and community on the importance of early detection through an activity they are passionate about.

Volunteer "Ambassadors" host and plan the events locally. They are the liaison between Rally Headquarters and his/her group. A registration fee of $20 per person includes participant favors, event decorations and important breast health information while enabling participants to take part in a contest for a chance to win a prize.

 How To Rally:

• Select a Date and Activity- Rally can be incorporated into an existing event or you can design an event around the breast cancer awareness theme.

• Invite Participants- Rally provides sign-up sheets, posters and flyer to promote the event among your club members and/or community members.

• Collect Entry Fees- Each participant pays a $20 entry fee (non-tax-deductible) for a chance to win a grand prize, receive event favors, breast health information and a subscription to a select Condé Nast magazine.

• Spread Awareness- Rally provides all the materials to support the event including event decorations, a prize, participant goody bags, pink ribbon pins and other breast cancer awareness items. The primary role of the Ambassador is to rally their friends, family, or community and spread the awareness message.

Rally for the Cure® is about people who are committed to making an impact in the fight against breast cancer. Rally is an awareness program that provides a simple platform for people to educate their friends, family and community about breast health and breast cancer.
